LeRoy Township Trustees/Fiscal Officer Township Hall - (440) 254-4236 Fiscal Officer
Linda Burhenne has served as a LeRoy Township trustee since January 2002. Before that, she was a member of the Painesville Township Board of Education for eight years. She has been a LeRoy resident since 1987. She lives on Callow Road, where she and Jack, her husband of 34 years, raised their six children. Linda is also a project coordinator for the Geauga County Commissioners.
Sharon Rodgers is a lifetime resident of LeRoy Township. Her grandfather Almar E. Baker owned and operated the last sawmill on Baker’s Falls (Paine Falls), where she grew up. She is married to Randy and has two adult children, Jason and Brian. She has been a member of the LeRoy Township Fire Department for 16 years, her husband Randy for 20 years, both now retired from the Fire Department. She has been the township’s Clerk-Treasurer, now known as the Fiscal Officer, for 16 years. Dates and time subject to change. The Leroy Township Comprehensive Plan is a major planning effort to guide the community toward what it will be like in future as a place to live, work, and invest. It is being developed through an open, participatory process driven by four broad-reaching questions:
1. Where are we now? The comprehensive plan will identify a vision and broadly address the elements that build a community including transportation, housing, open space and natural resources, sense of place, government services, the impacts of new developments and more.
